HEAD COACH EDWIN SI

If you train hard, you'll not only be hard, you'll be hard to beat.

Badminton is not just a sport, it's more than a sport.

The reason why I coach is to give back what I have and share this sport to the next generation of players.

 COACH

LOUIS TOH

"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to learn forever." -Mahatma Gandhi

Life is training in itself, you don't push you don't gain.

Pain is certain, suffering is optional. Sometimes later becomes never, so do it now.

Elite is where you want to learn to be better than yourself, as a team, with 1 passion 1 attitude.

COACH NICHOLAS SOH

"Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise" ⁃ Frank Ocean

Training does not only train the physical aspect of the body, it toughens the student’s mental fortitude as well as inculcate a form of discipline that may one day become very useful. Training at Elite Badminton Club has toughened my body both physically and mentally to take on any challenges that comes my way. When i was a player training at the club, the former coaches were very caring and patient to guide me along not only as a player, but also as a person. They teach me values that i still hold close to my heart even until today. Present day, i am assuming the position as a coach at Elite Badminton Club and i am now inculcating those very values to my players training under me.

My training philosophy is give 110% during training so that you will not leave any regrets on the competition grounds.

COACH HOCK KER YUEN

“Your attitude, not your aptitude determines your altitude.” - Zig Ziglar

With the help of Mr Quek and the coaches from Elite Badminton, it has improved my doubles gameplay as well as techniques. This was built up through targeted specific trainings and drills provided. The coaches from elite badminton gave feedbacks along the way to help me understand my weaknesses.

I believe that not only attending trainings is important, but giving your all and persevere through tough training is what makes you a better person / player.

I believe that discipline can be taught through the training sessions. I hope that students would attend trainings with a positive attitude & mindset in order to have a meaningful training.
